-
1 cup milk (or almond milk for dairy-free option)

Extra walnut pieces or dried red dates for garnish
Instructions
-
Soak walnuts in water for at least 4 hours or overnight. Drain and rinse.

-
Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
-
Add sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
-
Lower the heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Adjust the thickness by adding water or milk if needed.

Add the milk and simmer for another 5–10 minutes until the soup turns creamy and rich.
-
(Optional) Stir in grated ginger for a subtle spicy flavor.
-
Taste and adjust sweetness or consistency as needed.
-
Serve warm, garnished with extra walnuts or dried red dates.
Notes
-
Rock sugar can replace white sugar for a more traditional flavor.
-
Adjust the consistency by adding more water or milk based on preference.
-
Almond milk or coconut milk are great dairy-free substitutes.
-
For a chilled version, refrigerate and serve cold.
