Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, sliced thin against the grain

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon oil (canola or peanut)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 small onion, sliced

1/4 cup beef broth

Optional: 1 tsp oyster sauce

Optional: 1 tsp brown sugar
Instructions

In a bowl, combine sliced steak, soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Marinate for 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.

Add beef in batches. Sear 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Stir-frying beef and vegetables for bold pepper steak flavor -
Add garlic to pan and stir for 30 seconds.

Toss in bell peppers and onion. Cook for 2–3 minutes until crisp-tender.

Return beef to pan. Add beef broth and optional sauce ingredients.

Simmer for 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.

Serve hot over rice or noodles.
